This is a small glossary of terms that you will find on the internet.
Canon Everything is official and it was decided by the author of the work, often at the expense of the wishes of fans.
Fandom: includes everything that revolves around a work of fiction, from the basics to the little things, the decision of the ruminations of the fans.
Fanon: All that is followed and created by fans. It is often the ground for the birth of couples also impossible.
Shipping: term used to describe the act of cheering and support one or more pairs, which is canon fanon in the latter case as in that of the nearly canonical, hoping they become official.
Shonen Ai literally "love of boys." Describes all stories with the presence of male homosexual relationships where sex is not as strongly present in Yaoi, another acronym used to define gender is Boy's Love.
Yaoi: credits of the words "Yamanashi, Ominaschi; Ichinashi" (lit.: No Climax, No Feelings, nothing), defines a kind of Harmony, where homosexual acts are seasoned with explicit sex scenes and sometimes non-consensual erotic pictures featuring men. Typically created by women (and sometimes men) for women, is generally used to describe all the productions in which there are homosexual relationships between men; the term used for the Western fandom Slash.
